Age 30, of Forest Lake, passed away on May 12, 2026.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, William; his maternal grandparents, William and Peggy Barker; and his paternal grandmother, Diane Vance.
He is survived by his mother, Ann; his sister, Jessica and Chris Vierling; his beloved nephew, Declan; his beloved niece, Scarlet; along with aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
Kenny was truly one of a kind. He had a wild side, a gentle heart, a smart mouth, and a look that usually meant something exciting or mischievous was coming. He was funny without ever trying to be, loyal to the people he loved, and had a heart of gold. At his core, Kenny was simply a good person who cared deeply, meant well, forgave easily, and loved his people with everything he had.
No role brought Kenny more joy than being Uncle Kenny. Declan and Scarlet were his world, and the love he had for them was unconditional, constant, and incredibly special.
Kenny loved fishing, being outdoors, motorsports of every kind, working on vehicles, and anything that gave him the chance to use his hands. He was a hardworking, mechanically minded guy who was always willing to lend a hand, even if it became a running joke that he could break just about anything he touched before finding a way to fix it.
Kenny’s life will be remembered for the love he gave, the heart he carried, and the enormous place he will forever hold in the lives of those who loved him.
A celebration of life will be held at Lions Park in Lindstrom, (13292 Sylvan Ave, Lindstrom) on June 5th from 4-7pm; remembrances shared at 6pm. Any memorials can be made out to Ann Vance to support the U of M’s research for addiction and mental health.
