Mary Jo Godar, age 44 of Forest Lake passed away August 11, 2014 from pancreatic cancer. Mary Jo will be deeply missed by her husband, Mike; daughters, Jessica and Julie; mother, Pat Jeukens; father and step-mother, William and Gloria Jeukens; half-brother, David Jeukens; aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by grandparents, William F. and Louise Jeukens and William and Marcella Japp. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 16, 2014 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 707 - 89th Avenue NE, Blaine with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 9:00 AM. Private interment Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake.
May the family find comfort in knowing that our loving Creator, Jehovah God, invites you to “throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7; Psalm 83:18) The Bible goes on to say that “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (Psalm 34:18) Take care and please accept my sincerest condolences. Mary Jo was a wonderful ray of light in our pancreatic cancer support group. Her courage and positive look on life was an inspiration to us all. She will be missed.
