Warren J. Welbourn Sr.
October 6, 1923 ~ August 17, 2020
Age 96 formerly of Chicago, IL, Lombard, IL, Forest Lake, Hinckley & North Branch. Loving, Dad, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa passed away peacefully and entered into heaven on August 17, 2020.
Warren was a proud WWII U.S. Navy Veteran and long time member of the IBEW. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, enjoying many times fishing with family. Warren was always active in his community, he was a member of a local Businessman’s Bible Fellowship, as well as the Forest Lake American Legion, post 225 and the Forest Lake VFW, post 4210. Above all, he was devoted to his family.
Warren is preceded in death by wife of 73 years, Patricia; parents, William siblings, William, Charles, Lois Gibbel. He is survived by children, Sharon (William) Rutherford, Cynthia (Michael) Merisko, Warren Jr. (Christine) Welbourn; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
A celebration of Warren's life 11 AM Monday, August 24th with visitation one hour prior at Roberts Family Life Celebration Home, Forest Lake. Interment at St. John of the Wilderness Cemetery, White Bear Lake. Memorials preferred to the Forest Lake American Legion, post 225 or Forest Lake VFW, post 4210.
