My sincere condolences to you and your family. Revelation 21:4 make this promise, it says: ” And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will morning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” What a beautiful promise, we all look forward, from our loving Creator, (Jehovah God, Psalm 83:18). May the God of peace be with you and your family.
Sincerely Yours,
Brandy Molina
Several years ago I spotted Warren walking through town. It looked to me like he was tired and needed a lift. I stopped and picked him up in my motor home. I asked him if he wanted a ride home and he said sure. So he hopped in and we stopped at Sinclair to get gas. While I was outside pumping gas, Warren was sitting inside and was stung by a bee. He was very upset and said “I have not been stung by a bee in over 30 years” He opened the door of the motor home and said “I am walking home, its safer”
Never knew this dear man’s name, but have spoken w/him thanking him for how safely he walked the streets. Only when I read the obit did it click as to who he was. God speed Mr. Nelson!
Used to love to listen to Warren’s stories about his past and the current happenings in his life at church. I always enjoyed his company when I’d occasionally pick him up for Church in bad weather and to go out to eat with the men’s group.
I know when he had to quit his walks to get about, which he loved and he did with a passion, it made life difficult for him. But he still persevered. Warren, I know you’re walking again with the Lord enjoying the many paths you can travel in Heaven.
You will be missed.
Warren was a sweet man. Met him when he would stop by at Hallmark to visit with the employees. Then our paths crossed again when I would see him at Kilkenny apts, getting ready to walk. Always very nice! Loved his determination in walking every day! May God Bless you, Warren, on the final leg of your journey!
