Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. I cherish my memories of Vivian-cooking in her kitchen and her patience while she taught us the fundamentals of baking. She did her best to maintain a serious teaching environment, but would inevitably break out in that quiet smile and snicker. She was so kind to me as a child and when I was to be married, she hosted a wedding shower for me and invited all our neighbors. The best gift of all was being surrounded by all those strong women, mentors and friends, supportive and fun-loving; they were always there. I will always treasure my last visit with Vivian this summer; we laughed and in that moment when she flashed that smile, I beheld the beauty of Vivian for the last time. Goodbye Vivian, I will truly miss you.

  2. Such a caring, loving lady and nieghbor. I have so many of her great receipes and memories of her in the flower and vegetable garden on the farm. One was always welcome in her home no matter when you stopped by and usually didnt get to leave without something to eat or plant. So sorry for the loss of this delightful mother and grandmother and friend.

  3. It was such a delight to spend time with Vivian over the years! Always felt warmed by her soft voice and gentle ways! Wishing you peace, comfort and joyful memories!
