Veronica "Ronnie" Elizabeth Fuller

Veronica “Ronnie” Elizabeth Fuller, age 83, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 22, 1943, in Brainerd, Minnesota, Ronnie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and strength touched all who knew her.

Ronnie was the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Bailey) Fritz and was raised in Newport, Minnesota. She graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in St. Paul in 1961 and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from the College of Saint Teresa, now St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota. She later earned her master’s degree in Criminology from the University of Minnesota. Ronnie dedicated her career to nonprofit victim advocacy, where her compassion and determination made a lasting impact on the women she served.

She spent most of her life on Forest Lake, the place she loved most and where she raised her family. Her home, especially summers by the lake and the pool, became a cherished gathering place filled with laughter, stories, and generations of memories. Ronnie was happiest when surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who adored her as an incredible mom, gram, and GG.

Ronnie was a devoted mother to Lawrence (Larry) James Fuller, Lori (John) Marie Quist of Chisago Lakes, and Nicholas Raymond Fuller of Chisago Lakes. She was a proud and doting grandmother to DeNay, Kyle, Kacey, Zach, Conner, and Jameson, and a loving great-grandmother (GG) to Jett and Cannon. She cherished her family deeply, and her love for her grandson Conner Fuller was immeasurable. Her family finds comfort knowing they are reunited in the arms of the Lord.

She is survived by her children, Lori (John) Quist and Nicholas Fuller; grandchildren, Denay (Paul) Schreiner, Kyle Fuller, Zach (Sarah) Fuller, Kacey Fuller Davidson; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth (Bailey) Fritz; her brother, James (Jim) Peter Fritz; her sister, Marie Mildred (Fritz) Sheryak; her son, Lawrence (Larry) James Fuller; and her grandson, Conner James Fuller.

Ronnie will be remembered as an avid reader, a devoted gardener, and someone who found joy in the Florida coast and in every moment spent with her family. Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and unwavering devotion. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her most.

Ronnie’s life will be celebrated with a gathering from 5-8 PM Thursday, July 16th with a time of sharing and One Last Toast beginning at 7 PM at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake.
