Dear Andrea and Family,
My deepest sympathy goes out to every single one of you. I only met Scott once but once was definitely enough for me to know how wonderful of a man he was. I have got the wonderful opportunity to have Andrea as one of my closest friends in just the short 3 months we have attended Winona State. I will stand by her until the end of time and be here for her whenever she needs me. I am so sorry for loss, he will stay in your hearts forever.
I have you and your beautiful family in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry.
A great friend you will be missed! I posted some of the recent pictures of BIG WATER! So many memories and stories of his times here. I recall the time when the big Sauger was caught in January 2005. I remember Scott and I outside the fish house and the girls were sword fighting with frozen Burbots! What a laugh! Lisa will miss her birthday buddy!
Mike and Lisa Kinsella
Dear Kelley and Family,
My deepest sympathy to all of you. Praying that you have strength and peace during the difficult days ahead. Keep your beautiful memories close to your hearts and know that he will remain with you forever in spirit.
I am so shocked and saddened by this unexpected loss. I added a photo of all of the Bulera cousins at the cottage from about 1959. Scott is the one with a patch on his eye sitting on my uncle Tom’s lap (front right) Most of my best memories with my cousins were at the cottage. It’s comforting in some way think of how many people from that picture are with him now. It’s just too soon for him to be there.
Kelley, Camille, Devon, Andrea – We are so shocked and sad to hear about Scott! Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Kelley,
Please know you and your family are in my heart and in my prayers. If you need anything please let me know.
I would like to say how very sorry I am to the entire Solheid family. This is truly a huge shock. I haven’t seen Scott in many many years, but we kept in touch a little bit through FB. He has a beautiful family and I know how very proud he was of all of you. I knew Scott in high school. In fact he taught me how to play pool. We had a lot of fun and he could always be counted on, and could always make me laugh, even when I didn’t want to. I really don’t have any words that will make this feel any better, but wanted you all to know that you are all in my thoughts at this incredably hard time.
Kelley and Girls! We are so sorry about the loss of your wonderful husband and father, Scott. maddy called me today and I was in shock. I remember fondly spending time with all of you many years ago and how kind and what a great sense of humor Scott had. I know what a presence he was in your family! Our prayers are with all of you!
To All the Solheid’s,
So sorry for your loss. Scott was a great guy, one of a kind, with a great laugh and always true to who he was, even back in high school. He will surly be missed.
I’m so terribly sorry for your loss. Death is something that humans were never meant to experience, the pain that we experience when we lose a loved one is something that is simply unnatural. Psalms 37:29 says 29 “The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it.” God’s original purpose for humankind was to live forever in a paradise earth with no sickness or death. An “abundance of peace” as psalms 37:10 brings out. Though the world we love in is horrible and we experience pain on a daily basis there is some good news, the bible promises something truly amazing at revelation 21:4 it says “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” So death, sickness, pain and every kind of sorrow will be wiped out but what about those who have already died? John 5:28,29 says of those ones “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” So these ones will be resurrected to an earth filled with peace.
