Rusty Wagner

Age 81 of Forest Lake. Loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa & Brother. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 21, 2026.

Preceded in death by father, Wilfred Sr.; mother, Henrietta (Luverne) Gosse. Survived by loving wife of 56 years, Janice; children, Rachel (Jurgen) Öltjenbruns, Jesse (Andrea); grandchildren, Tea, Lex, Joshua, Jared, Kristyn; siblings, Mary Lillie, Susie Fairchild, Keith Gosse; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Rusty was born and raised in Wabasha, MN. Following graduation he proudly served in the U.S. Army. After his military service he worked hard to provide for his family as forklift operator in the lumber industry. Outside of work Rusty’s hobbies included, woodworking, golf, bowling & fishing.

Rusty’s life will be celebrated at 12 Noon Saturday, August 15th at the Forest Lake American Legion, Post 226.
