1948 - 2010 Age 62 of Chisago City, MN passed away November 26, 2010 with many loved ones at his side. He was preceded in death by parents, Herbert and Annetta. Royce is survived by his wife, Deborah, his daughters, Dawn (Gary) Kubat and Dana Moszer; grandchildren, Alexis Kubat and Parker Moszer; siblings, Dwight (Sue) Zaudtke, Duanne Zaudtke, Bette (Jim) Deming, Linda (Chuck) Wattnem, Penny (Phil) Russell, LuAnn Zaudtke, Tom (Julie) Zaudtke and Tim (Cheryl) Zaudtke; many nieces and nephews. Royce was a graduate of Hinckley High School. He served in the Vietnam War as a Medic. When he returned home, he started working as a carpenter. At the age of 26, he was united in marriage to Deborah Paige on August 3, 1974 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Askov. Royce and his wife, Debbie started their own contracting business, Zaudtke Construction in 1976. He was a craftsman and a residential home builder who loved his trade. Royce was an avid sportsman, a member of Forest Lake Sportsmans Club from 1975 - 2010, NRA, MDHA and Snowdrifters Snowmobile Club. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His grandchildren were very special to him; he was often called Big Grandpa. We will miss his smiling face and gentle ways. Visitation and Funeral Service Visitation 5-8 PM, Tuesday, Nov. 30th at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 5879 Wyoming Trail, Wyoming. Funeral service 11 AM, Wednesday, Dec. 1st at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wyoming with visitation beginning at 10 AM until time of service.

  1. Deb i was so shocked to hear about Royce. I had just gotten home from Montana and got a text letting me know. It comes as a great loss to all that knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My heart just hurts for your family, LuAnn is more like a sister to me, and I know the loss of Royce, will be one of the hardest things she will have to understand in her life as well as the rest of his brothers and sisters.
