Date of Birth: December 28, 1972 Date of Death: February 11, 2010 Age 37 of Scandia passed away on February 11, 2010 following an extended illness. Roy is survived by his mother, Sue Tuomi, formerly of Proctor and one special aunt, Mabel Lessard of Duluth; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Roy was preceded in death by his father, Roy Wayne Tuomi in 1996, his sister, Trish Olson in 2005, his grandparents from Proctor, Arthur and Irene Johnson and Roy and Elma Tuomi. Memorial Service A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 6th at 11 AM at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Drive SW, Forest Lake with a gathering of friends beginning at 10 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Duluth, Minnesota.
I grew up with Roy. I have a lot of good memories of him. Rest in peace and god bless. This is so sad. He passed way to soon.
Sue, my condolences. I knew Roy for only a couple of years, but he seemed like a very nice man. He died way too young. I knew Roy through his relationship with Tracy Florek and I know that Tracy will really miss him. May the promise and the hope of the resurrection in Christ Jesus give you comfort and peace at this sad time. Peace and blessings!
