This is my father, Ronald Weiss. His family and friends already miss him so much. Love you Dad!
Ron was like an older cousin to me. He taught me to shoot, how to hunt, and how to play basketball. Later, as we both grew older, he taught me about taking faith seriously. I was so honored when he asked me to stand with him in his wedding. I am so thankful to God for the way He used Ron to direct my life toward the saving grace of Christ. Our hearts are sad, but we rejoice in the one who has conquered death, and gives us hope in times like this.
Ron was not only my cousin, but a great inspiration to me of what a true patriot is. I will fondly remember his attitude of service and will always appreciate all the help he gave me over the years. Please know that not only the Meier family but also the Alleman/Schuett family from Giese will have your family in our prayers. We are so deeply saddened by his passing and for your loss. God bless.
Our thoughts and prayers to the Weiss family. He was a wonderful man and will truly be missed.
On behalf of the Forest Lake American Legion Post 225 family, we give thanks for Ron’s service to our nation and the many years of service to veterans through the American Legion. He was the SAL Commander, past Post Commander, Third district Vice Cdr, and I could list many more accolades.
