Roger Jerome Seekins, passed away peacefully, March 9, 2013. Proud US Navy Korean Vet and Past Chef de Gare of 40/8 at Forest Lake American Legion Post. Preceded in death by parents, Carl and Lois; and 8 brothers and sisters. Deeply missed by Lucy, his wife of 56 years; daughter, Julie (Kevin) Gronlund; son, Jay (Cheryl) Seekins; grandchildren, Guy (Emily) Davis, Dani (Sam) Trushinski, Brooke Seekins, and Brittany Seekins; sister, Shirley (Don) Otto; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held 5-8 pm Monday, March 18th at Forest Lake American Legion Post 225, 355 W. Broadway Ave., Forest Lake. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery, MN.

When I was young Roger lived with my family in Osceola,Wi. He was a wonderful, fun, pretend big brother. I have many fond memories. So sorry for your loss
