Many memories over the past 40+ years. Some of my favorite include Rita’s cooking. I am convinced Rita had spices in the tips of her fingers. So many memories spent at the table. At the Easter dinner in the picture below Rita said I’d done alright with the dough wrapped ham. Last night I made our kids and grands the dinner we most frequently requested – sarma and cheesecake with cherry and blueberry topping. After giving thanks for the meal and Rita in our lives we enjoyed two of our many favorites of hers while sharing memories. Love you to the moon and back Rita!
I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort in Jesus words at John 5:28,29. There Jesus promised a resurrection of our loved ones, saying that the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. These resurrected ones will inherit the earth, as Jesus spoke about in Matthew chapter 5. Then, under the rule of God’s Kingdom, they will enjoy life the way God originally intended, in perfect health with no sorrow, pain or death. (Psalms 37:29. Isaiah 33:24. Revelation 21:4). What a wonderful time that will be! If you would like to learn more about this hope, please visit jw.org. Please accept my condolences.
