Dear Mary,
Sorry to hear you lost Pete. And was I right in surmising you are not well? I’ve tried to find your address thru the years.
Dear Wieczorek family: There are not adequate words that describe the loss of Pete. I have so many fond memories of him. Christmas time was one of my favorite times to spend with Pete. He let me spoil him with baked goods and always ordered “more banana bread this year than last”. No matter how many loaves he got! He thought the world of all of his children and loved being a part of their sports and their lives. He was one proud papa. Mary, my heart goes out to you right now and I know Pete is watching over you, just as he did Trisha. Melissa, thank you for being such a beautiful daughter-in-law to Pete. He loved being a grandpa! There is no doubt in my mind, he is still close by each of you in spirit. God bless you all with deepest sympathies.
Oh dearest Pete!! I will miss you so very much. I am so very blessed to have had such a wonderful father in law. You were so caring and very generous man. You have been there for Mike and I and Tatum and Tyler too. I am grateful that you took in Tyler as your own and I know he was very proud to cal you “Grandpa”. Thank you for supporting him all through his basketball years. I know you’ll be watching the St. Scholastica Saints this coming year from heaven. Thank you for watching over Trish during her surgery as I know that you saw that all the way through, making sure she made it through that. I ask now if you can watch over Mary and ask the big guy up there to give her more time with us. I am sorry we didn’t check on you more as we were all worried about Mary and Trish. The day you passed I was making you dinner and was about to bring it over to you. I wish I did as maybe I could have done something for you and perhaps you’d still be with us. I will miss picking up Tatum from your house on Monday’s and Wednesday’s . I am sure glad that you were able to do that and become close with her. You were and always will be her “PaPa” Gosh she loved you.. I will miss when we were leaving, you standing on the pourch and Tatum in and I in the car, She would yell out to you, “See Ya around like a doughnut”, You would immediately say Hole and you both would laugh, Tatum blowing you kisses, and saying see ya later alligator. You’re reply after awhile crocodile. We will always keep your memory alive for Tatum as she only had 3 short yrs to get to know you. I make you a promise Pete to keep your family together and close and help them all get through this very hard time. I love you pete!!!!
