Patrick "Plotch" M. Steele

Age 67 of Harris. Loving Dad Grandpa. Patrick went home on December 7, 2016. Patrick was a proud graduate of Monroe High School (67), Navy Vet and retired IBEW 110 journeyman. Pat spent his life hunting, fishing, and making people laugh. He was a late night philosopher, lover of music and propagator of shenanigans. He loved his kids and his grandkids more than anything on Earth and loved watching them play and grow. He reveled in time with his big family- finding joy in teasing his nieces and nephews and laughing the night away with his brothers, sisters and friends. He taught all who knew him kindness, empathy, forgiveness and most of all unconditional love. Patrick is preceded in death by parents, Wally Marie; brother-in-law, Reuben Zapzalka; sister-in-law, Joanie; Jennifers mother, Sandra Waller; many loved bird dogs. Survived by children, Travis (Izabela), Jennifer (Matthew) Mickelson; grandchildren, Arwen Bianka, Carter Alexandra Mickelson; siblings, Candy Zapzalka (Jim), Gary (Trisha), Mike, Mark (Lori), Rodney (Louise), Jerry (Robin), Greg (Kim), Marie, Shannon (Rosalie); Travis mother, Marcy; bird dog, Bailey; many, many beloved nieces nephews; best friend, Bruce (Barb) Johnson. Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday, December 15th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Dr. SW, Forest Lake. Memorial Service 6 PM Friday. December 16th at Lakes Free Church, 29620 Olinda Trail, Lindstrom with visitation 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Little Sisters of the Poor, St. Paul.
