Laurie and Family, I knew Norris for a number of years, working for GMCI and Henkel. He was such a nice, nice man. I am so sorry for your loss.

I worked with Norris at H.B.Fuller Co. for almost 20 years. Norris defined the occupation of Professional Engineer! He took very difficult and challenging engineering problems in stride and came up with a timely solution. Norris took many junior engineers under his wing and passed his wisdom to them. My prayers are with the family.
Norris and I worked together as process and project engineer at HB Fuller on many projects. The most memorable was the Polyol system project in Paducah, KY. Lots of hard work, fun dinners, laughs and good times. Norris was truly one of the good guys. Rick Peterson
I came to know Norris through the NanJing project. As a young engineer then, I was privileged to be coach by Norris and hence providing me with a solid foundation. He was always patient and always have time for me. We shared many meals and many stories together, and I will miss him dearly!

I had the privilege of working almost three years with Norris on the midnight shift while we both sought our degrees from the U. He was the most authentically unselfish person I had ever met, and he was great company. Never a complaint about anything or anyone, and it was obvious that he was totally in love with his Laurie and could not believe he was so lucky. Thank you my friend.
I have been a friend of Norris for over 40 years. He always had a smile for everyone, was always soft spoken and had a kind and gentle soul. I will miss him greatly.
Over the last 40 years Norris has been my manager, a colleague at 3 firms, a trusted mentor, an engineering adviser and go to guy, a fantastic neighbor and a great friend. Vivian and I will miss him!
Laurie and family… Our hearts are saddened to learn of Norris’s passing; he fought valiantly and you all supported him in that fight. May Norris now be free of pain and at peace in the arms of Jesus. Our working days at GMCI/Henkel revealed a talented and loyal employee. Even in September, he had that sparkle/twinkle in his eyes that I’ll always remember along with his quick smile (the one shown in this photo) — he will be missed. We offer our prayers, sympathies, love and support to you all. Betty and John Kendall
Prayers with Laurie, Tony, Jenny and all that knew and loved Norris. We have been neighbors for some 30 years and not a bad day between us! I loved watching Norris create the Rainforest in his yard when things were dry and the love he had for trees! You will be missed.
