June 1, 1923 ~ September 3, 2012
Micheal Joseph Kolodziej, Beloved Husband, Dad, Grandpa, and Great Grandpa, age 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 3, 2012. Mike will be deeply missed by his wife of 67 years, Florence; children, Kathleen (Tom) Parent, Dennis Kolodziej, Jeannette Anderson, Thomas (Tina) Kolodziej, Beverly (Michael) Thell and Marlene (Tim) Thell; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 2-7 PM Thursday, September 6th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Dr. SW, Forest Lake with a service beginning at 4:30 PM. Private family interment with military honors will be held in Calvary Cemetery, St. Paul.
On behalf of the Forest Lake American Legion Post 225 we give thanks for Mike’s military service to our nation.

May your passage into the next world be full of joy Uncle Mike! Winter weekend poker games, New Years eve parties, family reunions all were such fun with you among us. Hoping your family will hold all the good memories to their heart.

You will always be permanently intertwined in our hearts and ingrained in our minds forever! You will be deeply missed, but NEVER forgotten! May you be at peace in Heaven with your Mom and Dad, brothers & sisters.
