Lyle was a generous and knowledgeable man. I remember the hours that my husband (passed away) and he spoke and made “plans” for how to build or revamp things. There was usually a glass of port and a piece of chocolate!
So glad that he was well enough last summer to spend some time at the marina and share more hospitality with a great spaghetti dinner on the dock and his boat.
He will be missed by many people. My prayers go out to his family and friends.
He was a loyal and forgiving friend that is greatly missed both for his wise counsel and his generous hospitality.
I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one, and would like to offer my deepest condolences to the family. During this difficult time, I hope you may find comfort in the words and future promise of Isaiah 25:8: “He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces..” Until that time, know that the God of all comfort is with the brokenhearted and those crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18)
I remember sitting in the McKenzie living room watching All Star Wrestling with Lyle. He got such a kick out of the fact that I enjoyed it with him! So sorry for your loss, McKenzie Family.
