September 21, 1947 ~ January 23, 2017
Age 69 formerly of Hackensack. Loving Dad, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa, Brother, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2017. He was long time employee of Swift Transportation. Preceded in death by parents, Homer Elaine. Survived by children, Jason (Julie), Jennifer (Randy) Mersch, Jassmyn Magnuson; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Ron (Jodey), Pat, Kathy (Gary) Martig, Sherri (Steve) Harwick; many nieces, nephews, other relatives friends. A Celebration of LeRoys Life 12-3 PM Saturday February 4th at Roberts Family Life Celebration Home, 555 SW Centennial Dr., Forest Lake, with military honors at 3 PM. Interment at a later date at Hillcrest Cemetery, Hackensack.
To Leroy’s family: I was Leroy’s planner for the past several years and I just want you to know how much I appreciated and loved him. I never got to meet him and that is unfortunate. But I can still hear his voice. I miss him dearly. I’m sorry for your loss. He was a blessing to me.
