LaVerne C. Carney
October 10, 1926 ~ March 27, 2015
Age 88 of St. Paul, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on March 27, 2015. La Verne is preceded in death by husband, Frank Nub in 2003; parents, Clarence and Clara (Classen) Kapaun; and brother, Gordon Kapaun. She is survived by sons, Michael F. (Ginger) Carney and David P. (Arlene) Carney; grandchildren, Gina (Chris) Eng, Tom (Angie) Carney, David Carney, and Mark Carney; many great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Chloe Ann Kapaun; many other family members and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM, Thursday, April 9th at Church of the Holy Childhood, 1435 Midway Parkway, St. Paul with visitation beginning at 9 AM until the time of mass. Interment Roselawn Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Gracewood Senior Living in North Branch or St. Croix Hospice.
Mike and Dave, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of LaVerne. She always made me laugh and it was so good to see her the last time she came to ND. We had talked to Dad about coming to St Paul on Thursday but Dad is at the age where he does not want to go to far from home. We want you to know that we are thinking of your during this time and that LaVerne was a special person.
