Kenneth Lee Judd

July 4, 1957 ~ March 22, 2026

Age 68 of Sturgeon Lake, formerly of Lino Lakes & Circle Pines. Loving Husband & Brother, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 22, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Preceded in death by father, David Judd; mother, Mary Ann Van Hecke; brother, Dennis Judd; grandparents, John & Lydia Judd, Delbert & Francis Van Hecke; four-legged friends, Buster, Princess, Snickers, Cheyenne. Survived by loving wife of 41 years, Gail; siblings, Phyllis (Greg) Anderson, Jerry Judd, Robert Judd; sister-in-law, Carol Judd; four-legged friend, Hogan; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Ken’s greatest loves in life were his family & friends, animals, the outdoors, and his country. If you had the luxury of being in Ken’s presence, you would have quickly noticed his sense of humor was one of his greatest gifts. He loved to joke, tease, and bring laughter to those around him. Ken was fiercely independent, slightly hardheaded, but a self-sufficient man. He was someone who preferred to rely on himself and take pride in his work. His 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle was the apple-of-his-eye behind his 1st love Gail. It is a beautiful dark blue with black pinstriping, which he enjoyed showcasing at car shows. For the past five years, Ken and Gail, spent their winters in Holiday, Florida. There, he embraced the warm weather and easygoing lifestyle; playing shuffleboard and darts, and taking his dog Hogan on leisurely golf cart rides. Back home in Minnesota, he found equal happiness tending to his yard, carefully managing his lawn, nurturing his flowers, and displaying his collection of lawn gnomes.

Ken’s life will be celebrated with a service at 2 PM Sunday April 12th with visitation beginning at 1 PM at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. A lite luncheon will follow the service. The service will be live-streamed. Interment at Moran-Riverside Cemetery, Moran Township at a later date, to be followed by a small Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Shriners Hospital.

  2. I am so sorry to learn of Ken’s passing. I’m in Holiday FL at HTP and a friend of Alicia’s. He was such a kind and happy person. It was very apparent that he loved you Gail. I lost my husband recently and I can tell you to just take your time, grieve as long as you need. There’s no time limit. I hope you’ll be back in Holiday in the Fall. I’ll be thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers, Gail. Warm Hugs.
