Joseph J. Johnston

Joe passed away peacefully in his sleep due to compliciatons from Duchennes Muscular Dystrophy on May 11, 2006 at his home. Survived by his father, Timothy (Billie) Johnston; his mother, Hattie Perry; his sisters, Ashley, Stephanie, Cassandra, Danielle; his brothers, Jeremy and Brendan; his grandparents, Jim (Pat) Johnston, Debbie (Roger) Erickson; his loving girlfriend, Stephanie; and many other relatives and special friends. Visitationwill be from 4-8 PM , Tuesday, May 16th at Roberts-Eckert Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Drive SW, Forest Lake. Funeral will be 2 PM Wednesday, May 17th at Hosanna Lutheran Church, Forest Lake. Private interment will be held at a later date. Joe was courageous with how he handled his disease and was experiencing the happiest days of his life, he will be extremely missed. In liew of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
