John F. Duffy

October 22, 1939 ~ June 5, 2026

Age 86 of Taylors Falls, formerly of Brooklyn Park. Loving Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather & Brother, passed away surrounded by family in his home on June 5, 2026.

Preceded in death by loving wife of 58 years, Margaret “Peg” Duffy; parents, James & Margaret Duffy; siblings, Irene James, Fr. Richard Duffy, Robert Duffy, Charles Duffy. Survived by children, Kathy (David) Oakvik, Christine Duffy, Tim Duffy, Maggie (Mark) Miller; grandchildren, Jessica (John), Morgan (Logan), Megan (Jake), Paige, Claire, Rose, Mary; great-grandson, Harvey; sister, Pat Plochocki; nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

John was a proud U.S. Navy veteran. He also took great pride in being a member of Local 15 Plumbers Union for over 60 years. John was an avid outdoorsman & accomplished cribbage player. He & Peg loved to spend their winters in their Mesa, AZ home. Above all he loved his family dearly.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, June 12th with visitation beginning at 10 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 490 Bench St, Taylors Falls. Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
