Joan A. Macioch

Joan Alma Macioch (nee Tholen), age 80 of St. Paul, died on September 29, 2013. She was proud to be a lifetime St. Paul Eastside Resident! Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Francis in 1987; parents, Sabina and Henning Tholen; and son-in-law, Ron Munson. She will be deeply missed by daughters and son, Lynn Munson, Diane (Tim) Bertsch, David (Pam) Macioch and Jill Macioch; grandchildren, Ryan, Angie, Adam, Lindsay, Chelsea, Olivia, Kevin, Jennifer, Chance, Aaron, Hunter, and Jordyn; five great grandchildren; sister, Mary Woodham; brothers, Jim (Mary Ann) Tholen and Jack Tholen; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A special thanks to the staff of HealthEast Hospice and Birchwood for their outstanding, loving care. In honoring Joans wishes, a private family service will be held in her honor. She will be interred next to her husband in Forest Lawn Cemetery, St. Paul.
Joan was like a second mom to me she was always there for me and my family and we will greatly miss her but know she is in a happy place with Fran. Love to all her family Terri Billy Mandi & Mike Mallet
