Jeanette Hilja (Henrikson) Hall

October 25, 1932 ~ July 24, 2022
Age 89 of Forest Lake, formerly of Duluth died Sunday, July 24, 2022 following a massive stroke on July 6, 2022. She was in hospice surrounded by her family at St. Therese at St. Odilia in Shoreview, MN.
Jeanette was born on October 25, 1932 to Hugo and Eva (Lampi) in Automba, MN. She married Patrick Hall on September 6, 1952 in Duluth.
She had SISU, was humble, fun loving, fiercely independent and most of all, she loved her friends and family beyond words. Jeanette loved all outdoor activities including biking, camping, cross country skiing, drinking coffee with friends at various neighborhood picnic tables, attending summer music in the parks, and sports & games of all kinds. She enjoyed watching football and tennis on TV and playing cards games of all kinds with her many friends and family. Words with Friends on her iPad and Bridge were her favorites.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Hall in 2005 & her parents. Survived by her three children, Lorraine Hall (Margaret Kitze) of Chippewa Falls, WI, William (Carol) Hall of Forest Lake, MN, Thomas (Tracy) Hall of Bloomington, MN; four grandchildren, Michael (Sara), Melissa, Abigail & Erin Hall; three great-grandchildren, twins Eva & Siena and their sister, Mira; many nieces, nephews & cousins.
A celebration of Jeanette’s life 11 AM Wednesday, August 31st with visitation beginning at 10 AM at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 SW Centennial Dr., Forest Lake. Another celebration of Jeanette's life will take place in Duluth in early September.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Forest Lake Senior Center (767 4th St. SW, Forest Lake, MN 55025), the non-profit hospice: St. Therese at St. Odilia (3500 Vivian Ave. Shoreview, MN 55126, or your local food pantry or pet shelter.
I met Jeannette at the senior center in Forest LAke and soon became bridge friends. I do miss her presence. My heartfelt sympathy to the family.
