Hugo Martin Krueger, age 77 of Forest Lake, formerly of North St. Paul, passed away unexpectedly May 22, 2011. Hugo is preceded in death by his parents, August and Effie (Messenger) Krueger; children, Roger Krueger and Gayle Krueger; and brothers, Victor Krueger, Karvin Krueger, August Krueger, Philip Krueger and Donn Krueger. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 47 years, Sharon Lee Laura (Gardner) Krueger; son, Hugo Krueger and wife, Pat; daughters, Karen Krueger, Donnet Krueger and her friend, Dave Cash and Dee Ann Tucci and her husband, Dave; grandchildren, Amber Azpiroz-Blas and husband, Kico, Nickolas Tucci and John Tucci and great grandsons, Aubrey MerCurio and Miguel Azpiroz-Blas; brother, Randall Krueger and wife, Glenda; sisters, LaVerta Ziegler and husband, John, Beverly Kruger and Deloris Rice; nieces and nephews and many family members and friends. Hugo worked as an over the road truck driver all of his life. He retired from Veltex Chemicals with 25 years of service to this company. Hugo also served in US Army during the Korean War. A funeral service will be held atl 12 Noon, Thursday, May 26th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Drive SW, Forest Lake with visitation beginning at 10 AM until the time of service. A family interment will be held in the Bruno Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.

  4. I just watched the beautiful video tribute to Hugo’s life. His love for his family is so strong! I was brought to tears by his memorable Krueger smile. I have so many fond memories…most recently smelt comes to mind =) I am keeping your family in my prayers for strength and comfort.

  5. What I will be missing most about my Uncle Hugo is his laugh………and his stories. He was so “full of them.” I pray for Sharon and all the family to have the strength that they will need to cope in the coming months and even years.
