Dear family of Gerald,
I am sorry for your loss. Losing someone you love to death can be a very hard thing to cope with. Perhaps you can find some comfort in what Jesus said to the sister of Lazarus when he died. John 11:25 reads, “Jesus said to her: ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.'” I hope this message is of some consolation.
Gerry, was always such a pleasant man and seemed to thoroughly enjoy when we visited him at Birchwood with our Therapy Dogs. Our condolences go out to his family.
We remember him sneaking us a popsicle at grandma’s when we didn’t eat all the vegetables at the dinner table. He taught us how to play pool when we visited Minnesota. There are many more treasured memories of times that we spent with Uncle Gerry. We know that you and our dad are hanging out together in heaven. Love ya!
Gerry, a nice man to work with. In Sept 1989 I started in engineering at Wyard Industries. It was a pleasure working with him over the next 20 years. We were like a family there and he will be truely missed. Tamara Schwartz
