Age 83 of Forest Lake. Loving Husband, Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Friend, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2016. Preceded in death by siblings, Charles, Robert, Beverly. Survived by loving wife of 62 years, Darlene; children, Roseann, Renae; granddaughter, Kristin (Jeremy Schneider); siblings, Ruth Bruce, Roger (Polly); furry friend, Willyem; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Georges Life will be 1 PM Monday, March 14th at Roberts Family Life Celebration Home, 555 SW Centennial Dr., Forest Lake, with a visitation from 11 AM until time of service. Interment at Oak Park Cemetery, Forest Lake. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee or the ASPCA.

I cannot believe that my dad, my hero is no longer here for me to lean on. What girl could ask for a better father. My own personal cheerleader in whatever I did, victories or failures. I miss you and hold you in my heart forever.
