Gabriel Bear Rehbein was born to Jaime and Jonathan Rehbein at 3:50 am on Friday the 12th day of April. Weight at birth: 5 pounds 8.7 ounces. Length at birth: 19 inches. Gabe was carried home in the arms of Jesus shortly after his birth. Gabe will always be remembered by his Mommy and Daddy, Jaime and Jon; Grandma and Grandpa Shelley, Grandma and Grandpa Rehbein; Great Grandma Shelley; Aunts and Uncles, Tony and Missy Shelley, Danielle and Ryan Haas, Julie and Tony Goodwin, Janice Standaert, Jeanne and Joe Pantalion, Lanette and Ben Wedell, Lisa and Mike Rivard, Lana and Tony Cook, and Jamie and Jill Greathouse; cousins; other relatives and friends. Gabes life will be celebrated 2:00 PM Friday, April 19th at Eaglebrook Church - Spring Lake Park, 8498 Sunset Road, Spring Lake Park, MN with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 1:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.

Gabriel has many meanings: It is of Hebrew origin, and the meaning of Gabriel is “God’s able-bodied one; hero of God”; “strong man of God”. Biblical: Gabriel was one of the 7 Archangels in Hebrew tradition.
Your son, Gabriel, is in the heavens above on a cloud watching out for you both. He is “Your” Guiding Angel….Your Guiding Light.
His soul was not ready to be here on earth. Jaime: He gifted you…to be a Mother, the bond between you and Gabriel will never end, it is ever lasting.
As a Mother, I shed tears for you and your family; and for the Little Angel Gabriel.

Praying for your family. God loves all of his children. He must have had a better plan for your little bear. I know words cannot heal your pain. Knowing that so many people are praying for and love you both should bring you some comfort, until you see him again.

I just saw this posted and I was so shocked! Oh, my heart is just grieved for the two of you and this deep pain. Please know that every tear is recorded by God and kept in a bottle. He doesn’t miss one drop. May you be visited by the kind of peace and comfort that is beyond comprehension for you to have. Your Gabe is safe in Heaven’s arms, but may you just be held as you long for him and as you grieve and heal. I’m so very sorry.
