Eugene "Gene" H. Thielbar
March 20, 1948 ~ December 3, 2021
Age 73 of Hugo.
Passed away on December 3, 2021. Gene was a proud Vietnam Army Veteran and Silver Star Recipient.
Preceded in death by parents, Herb brothers, Bob, David. Survived by loving wife of 48 years, Bonnie; siblings, Betty (Richard) Deyo, Sarah, Tom (Karen), Jerry (Robin), Rick (Shawna), Sue (Paul), Dean, Walt (Sally), Scott, Mary (Larry) Bergeron; sister-in-law, Robin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
A celebration of Gene's life 1-4 PM Saturday, January 8th with military honors at 2:30 PM at Roberts Family Funeral Home, Forest Lake. In honor of Gene's favorite color, please wear purple to his celebration of life.
On behalf of the Forest Lake American Legion Post 225, we give thanks for Gene’s military service to our nation in the Army and to veterans as a Legion member.

💜WOW -GENE-YOU ARE GOING TO BE SO MISSED! We all have so many Great memories of you from the GOOD OL’ days on blue unit!!! The residents sure loved you so much! You will be up there now taking care of a lot of them I’m sure!!! Also a lot of Fabulous times at the lake too! YOU WERE A GREAT FRIEND! What are all those raccoons going to do now without you feeding them every night?
