Ernest O. Franzen

Beloved Father, Grandfather age 88 passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 16, 2007. Preceded in death by his wife, Bernice in 1992 and grandson, Arik Zecher in 2005. Survived by children, Michael (Mary Jo), Dick (Peggy), Noni (Harvey) Charles, Gerrie (Rick) Zecher and Don (Colleen) and 15 grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Pierre and Jeanne Alwell and nieces and nephews. Ernie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral service 10 AM Tuesday, July 24th at Maternity of Mary Catholic Church, 1414 Dale Street, St. Paul with a visitation beginning at 9 AM until time of mass. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
