Preceded in death by parents Ernest Frances Wells; mother, Rose; brother, Robert Lee; sister, Sandy; beloved and dearly missed husband, Lawrence; son, Michael. Survived by son, Robert Lee (Val); daughter, Joy Benoy (Bob Fortney); daughter-in-law, Sandy Jasinski (Kenny); grandchildren, Wendy (Daryl) Seim, Kevin Benoy, Vicky (Steven) Axdahl, Lynn Gruber, Lori (Roy) Cotant, Alisha Jasinski (Jason), Michael (Missy) Jasinski; great-grandchildren, Sarah (Ryan), Charles, Krista (Dan), Kayla, Kylee, Kaleb, Luxie, Kjerssa; great-great-grandchildren, Arianna, Brayden, Carter, Ella; many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends. She was an avid Red Hatter and loved the excitement of everything she did. She was also an excellent card player and domino player. She was also in a knitting group and a member of Hope Aide for many years. She was a very active member of the Forest Lake Senior Center, Forest Lake American Legion, and Forest Lake VFW. Her pride and joy was her family and being a Red Hat lady, we think they started this just for her. The family would like to thank the staff at the Arbors where she lived, Birchwood Healthcare Center, Fairview Hospice Center, and her favorite nurse Jeannie. We would also like to thank all of her loving friends for making her life so happy. Elsies dream was to give her body to the U of M for research. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon, Saturday June 6, at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 SW Centennial Dr., Forest Lake, with a visitation beginning at 11 AM until the time of service. Memorials preferred to St. Johns Lutheran Church of Stacy, MN.
