I have so many great memories that can not be listed, but I can say that uncle bud was a great influence in my life and that I will always hold close to my heart. He is a great man and will be missed. I wish I could be there with you and the rest of the family and I look forward to seeing you soon.

The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taketh away. –Job:1 20-21
What He blessed the World with September 1, 1919, was the epitome of what a Father, Husband, Grandfather – and Uncle -should be.
“Uncle Butt’s” generosity, kindness, charity, and strength of character were instilled in all of us – making us better people, and this a better world because of it.
We will never forget his cheerful demeanor in the face of obstacles, charming wit in the worst of pickles, and unseasing love to all of those around him.
“Butt” took me to my first eer Twins game at “The Met.” I will never forget his chastisement of an often dropped fly ball, a repeated throw from the 3rd baseman into the stands behind 1st base, or the more than occasional hanging curve propelled 450 feet into the cheap seats by an oppsing batter. The perennial whipping boys of the American League got us Champions in 1987 and 1991.
What He hath taken away is only physically in our World. Within us all his memory lives on.
Our hearts go out to Auntie Evie, Wo-is, Debbie, and all of the Peterson – Olson too – family. We, I, will miss “Uncle Butt” dearly.
