Ellen T. Kenny

Ellen Teresa Kenny, age 86, a proud immigrant from Clonbur, County Galway, Ireland, currently of Forest Lake, formerly Roseville, Minnesota passed away October 30, 2012. Ellen is deeply missed by children, Tom (Sherrie) Kenny, John (Dawn) Kenny, Mark (Lisa) Kenny, Kevin (Donna) Kenny, and Maureen (Mark) Sneep; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; cherished Goddaughter, Maureen Kucera-Walsh; brother, Mark Kerrigan of Dublin,Ireland; sister, Marie Boyle of NY; nieces and nephews in Ireland and NY. She is preceded in death by husband, John in 2005; sister and brothers in Ireland, Bridget OMalley, John Kerrigan and Thomas Kerrigan. A visitation will be held from 4 - 8 PM on Friday, November 2nd and continues from 9-10 AM on Saturday, November 3rd at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Dr. SW, Forest Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Saturday, November 3rd at Church of St. Peter, 1250 So. Shore Dr., Forest Lake, MN. Interment Roselawn Cemetery, Roseville. I only briefly got to know Mrs.Kenny but in that brief time I come to know that she loved her Lord and she loved her family.This love was so obvious it poured out of her as complete joy. You could see it in her eyes, her sweet smile and hear it in her voice.I know she is in awe as she now stands in the presence of our Lord. I know that her family will find comfort in knowing that she is in the ever lasting care and presence of God.
