Elaine T. Taurinskas

Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother Age 82, of Forest Lake, MN, formerly of Inver Grove Heights, MN, passed away suddenly on August 21, 2011, at her home. Elaine was born on June, 22, 1929, in Ashland, WI, to Lawrence and Ellen (Foeller) Justice. She grew up in Mendota Heights, MN, and graduated from South St. Paul High School. In 1949 Elaine was married to Walter Taurinskas and the two moved to the Taurinskas Farmstead in Inver Grove Heights where Elaine raised her children. In her later years Elaine traveled extensively and in 1996 moved to Forest Lake to be closer to her children. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter and parents Lawrence and Ellen Justice. Survived by her children, Susan (Robert) Wendel, Michael (LaReine) Taurinskas, and Linda (Curtis) Schoenmann-Berg; Grandchildren, Lisa (Dan) Trenda, Jeremy (Sara) Taurinskas, Jason (Annette) Wendel, Rachel (Daniel) Picardo, Nicholas Taurinskas, Leah Schoenmann, Neil Taurinskas, Hannah Schoenmann, Tessa Berg, and Rebekah Berg; Great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. Memorial Service will be 7 PM Wednesday August 24th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 SW Centennial Dr. Forest Lake, with a gathering of family friends two hours prior to service. Memorials preferred.
