Date of Birth: November 21, 1961 Date of Death: October 26, 2010 USMC Beloved Father, Son and Brother. Age 48 of St. Paul passed away on October 26, 2010. Preceded in death by father, Howard C. Marx on Oct. 8, 2010, and sister, Carol Marx, 1977. Survived by daughter, Katrina Marx of Menomonie, WI; mother, Carolyn Marx of Pine City; brother, Bob (Shanna) Marx of Linwood, Juanita (Eric) McDew of Forest Lake and Shelli (Mark) Thompson of Woodbury. Memorial Service and Gathering Times Memorial service 1 PM Sat. Nov 6th at Roberts Family Funeral Home, 555 Centennial Dr. SW, Forest Lake with a gathering of friends beginning at 12:30 PM until time of service. Memorials preferred to Katrina Marx.

Though we did not know DuWayne long, he touched the hearts of many of the nurses and patients at TCU. He was always willing to play his guitar for other patients and lend a helping hand. His sense of humor and sensitivity will be remembered. I am so sorry for your loss.

I’m so sorry for your loss. DuWayne will be sadly missed by all of those he touched. A life gone far to soon.
I will remember DuWayne as a brother in law and friend. Father to my neice, Katrina Marx and Step Father to my neice Kerstain Mick.
I will remember his cooking… Chicken wings and fried rice. And some crazy thing with cheese???
DuWayne rest in peace my friend for now it is your time. Say hello to those we have loved and lost.
