August 15, 1960 ~ June 15, 2018
Age 57 of Stacy passed away on June 15, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. Preceded in death by son, Corey Latour; father, Donald Peterson, step-father, Lyle Northrop; sister, Debra (Robert) Halvorson; nephew, Corporal Johnathan Benson. Survived by wife, Vickie Peterson; children, Trisha (Denver) Miller, Brooke (Ryan) Berner, Donovan Peterson, Samantha Graslee; mother, Audrey Northrop; grandchildren, Brenton Miller, Emma Berner, Riley Berner, Reece Berner, Adilynn Berner, Landon Miller, Lillian Berner, Mason Miller; Logan Norlander; siblings; Vickie Mroz, Melvin Mroz, Donald Peterson, Dawn Davis; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Doug was born in St. Paul on August, 15, 1960. He worked as a general contractor & carpenter and enjoyed life, family, fishing, motorcycle riding & traveling. Doug had a winsome smile & everyone loved him.
A Celebration of Doug's Life 11 AM Wednesday, June 20th with visitation one hour prior at Grace Church of Forest Lake, 432 11th Ave SE, Forest Lake. Family prefers you wear a black shirt with blue jeans in honor of Doug. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
To the family and friends… I’m so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how you must feel. I have found comfort in scriptures like Job 14:14,15 which remind me that God cares so deeply for us that he yearns for the day when he will bring us back to life on earth (John 5:28, 29).
