Dorothy Marie Houghton

Age 87 of Scandia. Loving Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother passed away peacefully on July 30, 2023. Dorothy moved to the Twin Cities after High School. She worked hard throughout her career and enjoyed it. She liked to shop for and refurbish antiques. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family & friends. Preceded in death by husband, David; siblings, William Roningen, Robert Roningen, Marjorie Matalas & twin brother, Donald Roningen. Survived by daughter, Amy (Todd) Fleming; grandchildren, Tianna (Rick) Nelson, Taylor (John Ehret), Trace Fleming; great-grandchildren, Kaidin, Dominic, Louis; many close family & friends. A Celebration of Dorothy’s Life 11 AM Friday, August 11th at Elim Lutheran Church, 20971 Olinda Trail N, Scandia, with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Northwoods Humane Society, 7153 Lake Blvd, Wyoming, MN or donor's choice.
