Dear Jan and family:
Such sad news! I have known the Drolson family since the 1940’s in Lake Nebagamon, WI, and having lost a younger sister last year, I know the sorrow of the loss. I’m thinking about all of you.

Don was a gentleman along with being such a people person. I worked for him teaching Driver’s Ed. when our family was young and I needed a job. He was always gracious in his approach to working with people. He truly loved his family and was truly “DAD”. Everyone felt welcomed around him and he was a model of what a human being should be.
Jan, Julie, Lyn, David and families,
We are sending prayers and lots of love your way. Everytime I think of the Drolson’s I have to smile. When someone like “Docee” touches your life he is never, ever forgotten. You have shared so many happy times with him and those memories are exactly what will get you through to sunny days again. You know that is what he wants for all of you and he will be by your side to make sure that happens.
I am thankful that he touched my life.
Until we meet again,
May God bless you with strength and peace,
Love Always, Carrie (Grillo) O’Neil and Mike

I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Don. I have had the pleasure of working with Don and your family in many different ways and it was an honor to have known him through church and school, not only as a student of FLHS, but also as a teacher. To my sister and all the kids and grandchildren I want to say that Donny was a man to be admired and honored by all. He loved all of you, especially, you, Sister Janet, more that life itself. :You were always a family to admire and love and I did those things. If you had looked the world over you could never have found a more perfect husband, Janet. and you kids can all be proud to have come from such wonderful parents. They made you the good people you have become.. Del and I will miss Donny and we will always remember the great vacations we had with you. I could never tell you just how much joy you brought to our lives, and the kind and good man who drove us all over the country, never complaining and always being so kind to us.We love all of you and will miss Don always. He was the brother I never had. Thank goodness he was big enough to be there for all who needed him. Much love forever, Joan and Del
Jan and family, I grieve with all of you. He loved you all so very much and will be dearly missed. He always brought a smile to my face and was so caring of others. He was a special person. May he rest in peace. Please let me know if there is anything you need.
