Age 82 of Canoga Park, California, formerly of White Bear Lake. Loving Brother, Uncle Cousin passed away unexpectedly on January 17, 2018. Preceded in death by wife, Vinny; brother, Jack; brother-in-law, Vance Hurt. Survived by brothers, Gerald Swede, Mick (Sandra), sister, Mary Pat Hurt; sister-in-law, JoAnn; nieces, nephews, cousins extended family in Belfast, Northern Ireland. At a young age Dave became an accomplished harmonica player and then never left home without one. His talent was enjoyed by many as he would often sit in with a band, or play an impromptu tune in a grocery store aisle. Dave was also passionate about his Irish heritage. A Celebration of Daves Life will take place this summer.
My sincere sympathy to Dave’s family. He was our neighbor in Canoga Park until we moved to Minnesota in 1993. I was privileged to cut his beautiful hair when we were neighbors. A talented musician he was! He will be missed!
