I just found out, Dale was a great Guy! My families thoughts and prayers are with you Jean and your family.
“We’re not here for a long time, we’re here for a good time!”. I’m not sure who the first person was to ever speak those words, but Dale was the person who taught me that phrase! All I have to say is,”Thank you, and Amen Dale! Amen!” You’ll be missed!
For the sword outwears its sheath,
and the soul wears out the breast.
And the heart must pause to breathe,
and love itself have rest.
Roll on Dale.
My favorite memory of Uncle Dale was from a Christmas Eve party when I was about 6-7 years old (so 35 years ago). Aunt Jean was about to take our family’s picture, and evidently we were not smiling enough to Uncle Dale’s satisfaction. He came bounding up with this goofy look on his face, and pretended that he was going to dump his drink all over Aunt Jean’s head. As a first grader from rural Wisconsin, this was about the funniest and most edgy thing I had ever seen. That’s the way I’ll remember Uncle Dale.
To Aunt Jean, Angie, Niki and Brandon and your family’s, I am very sorry for your loss.
Loucks family… I don’t know where to begin.I have lost a great friend, Dale was always thoughtful and fun to be around. I can’t believe he will no longer be around. He will truly be in a special place in heaven. I have countless memories of Dale, especially all of the people, places, and things he showed me in Ft Myers. Every year I went to Ft Myers, I always looked forward to hanging out with Dale and Jean. It will truly never be the same. Uncle Dale knew more people than I could ever imagine. I am so glad I have a picture with him at this years Ribfest, I will cherish it. We will try to keep Stand-up Franks going, and you will always be remembered, but sadly it won’t be the same without you. So, “titter tatter let’s get at her” I’ll have a Miller Lite in your honor and sometime we will meet again, climbing that “Stairway to Heaven….”
Jean and Family,
I hope to make it tonight. I have great memories of all of you and was very saddened to see this news about Dale. Be well and hold tight to the good memories.
