Dear John and Kim,
Although we never had the privilege of knowing your dad, John,
the wonderful tributes paid to him and to your family on this website have given us some valuable insight as to the kind of person he was.
We are saddened by your loss, John and Kim. Know that each of you, along with your family, will be in our prayers and thoughts in the days ahead.
Peace,
Buzz and Mary Marzolf

Gina, Cindy, John and Carol I was saddened to hear about Uncle Clifford’s passing. I know that it is a hard time of year to lose a love one but remember that in was because of Christmas and Easter that we can know that once again we will see Clifford again. I am glad that my dad can fly back to be there with you. It is such a busy time I can’t get off of work but please that you are all in my prayers and thoughts. May you find comfort in your memories and may Gods loving arms surround you .
John, Gina, and Cindy, Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you! I have to share with you about the time that Mark and I came to visit Kim when she lived at Cliff’s house.(I think Brian was there too) He made us supper, and it was the best stew ever. I was really impressed with his cooking. After I had even had seconds, the guys informed me that I had just eaten deer. It was the first time I had eaten deer. The most interesting part of the story is where the deer had come from. John, do you remember?! Cliff was a really kind man. I’m sorry for this time of grieving you all must go through. Take care of each other!
John, Gina, and Cindy, We are so saddened by the loss of your father. We cared for him so much and admired him so much. He was a good man and all your families and your Mom are in our prayers. We are so glad that you got to spend so much time with him, the past couple of weeks, especially on Thanksgiving. That had to be the most precious of days for all of you. Kim said that he even asked about Mark. What a special man. You are fortunate to have had him for a Dad. Gina, You are such a special person for having your Dad live with you after he sold his house. Not many daughters could do that. Cindy, I am glad to hear of all your prayers for your Dad. And, John, I can’t say enough good things about you and your Dad. Since you and Kim lived quite a ways away the last few years, you were always there when he needed you, and I am so glad that he continued to attend all the camping and get togethers. We love you so much.
That is such a good picture of him you have posted. Many years ago, but it still shows his tenderness as a person. We were so thankful that he let Kim rent a room from him so many years ago, when she needed a place to stay. He was so kind.
May God give you faith and grace and show all of you His love during this time of grieving. You all have been wonderful children to your Dad. That makes it easier to let go.
