  9. I only met Christie a few times with our grandaughter Andrea Eiken, but she stood out as such a bright friendly, and a you knew she was one of God’s chiidren. I know she is finally a peace and will be miss by our grandaughter and all her friends.

  10. My family and I are sending loving thoughts your way. I have been thinking about the moments that CJ, Lauren and the other girls and I shared during our internship. Our laugh attacks, walking around the lake, playing in the water/sun bathing on the dock while the ice melted away in April, teaching our 3rd group together, snowball fights and so many other moments….Chrisite was a magical light in this world and I am so grateful that we got to share a part of our life together. Through her wonderful husband Jason, all of her beautiful family and her little girl Hannah—May Her Light Continue to Flow Through Us All.

  11. I am so very sorry to hear of Christie’s passing. When I thought of her as a little girl in my Kindergarten class, her beautiful smile came to my mind. Now, I see this picture and see the same smile, only with all of her front teeth! She was a delight in my class then and I have been hearing of the lovely young woman, wife and mother she became. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

  12. So saddened to hear about the passing of your daughter Christie, our prayers have been said and she is no longer in pain. Prayers & thoughts are with the Brink families

  13. I went to Concordia with Christie and I worked with Christie at Flathead in the summer of 2006. She was a BEAUTIFUL woman. 20. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Brinks and Engelmanns. I first met Christie at the Tjadens in Forest Lake as a young ambitious high schooler. A friend of Allie’s I didn’t realize that a few years later I would be helping the girls move in to the dorms at Concordia. A beautiful smile and a great role model for her peers, Christie was a girl who stood out in the crowd. I’m so happy that my sister in law was blessed to have such a wonderful friend. She will be greatly missed.

  21. I had the privilege and honor to know Christie through basketball at Forest Lake HIgh School. She was a coaches dream!! There was not anything she would do for her team. She was not only a great teammate, but she was an even better person. She touched the lives of many people and I am deeply saddened by her loss. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. I know I was blessed to have the opportunity to coach her and know her!

  22. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.
When I heard the news tears instatnly filled my eyes as I thought about all the fun times we had as kids.
It goes without saying that Christie will be deeply missed.

  23. I just heard the news. I am so sorry and deeply saddened by Christie’s passing. I will always remember how hard Christie worked on the basketball and volleyball courts. It was an honor to have been her 8th grade coach in several sports. I will never forget that wonderful smile, that gentle spirit, and that kind heart she shared with everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
