Carla and I were buddies from the time she came from Italy to the farm in Minnesota. She always called me “Little Jimmy” and I will miss that. The last time we were in Minnesota we loved meeting her brother Antonio and his wife Joncarla. Hearing about their experiences during the war, especially about how Carla and Roger met and fell in love was great fun. We will always feel privileged to have had such a wonderful sister-in-law.
Sonny and family, my deepest condolences to you all as you remember the good times and smile when you think of your lost loved one’s special cookies, humor and love that touched you all. Know that my thoughts and prayers with you all. May she rest in peace and let the perpetual light shine upon her.
