Loving Dad, Grandpa, Brother & Friend. Passed away in his sleep on September 25, 2018 from liver disease.
Preceded in death by wife, Dee; daughter, Debbie; grandson, Dylan Keith; father Carl (Phyllis); mother, Edith; brother, Larry. Survived by children, Michele (Joel) Hansel, Aaron (Jackie); grandchildren, KeOntay (Jordan Vavra), Damian & Madison Hansel, Chelsey (Bryan Eagan), Dahlia, McKenzie, Marcus, Ben Speece, Kip & Jacqueline Stumpf; step-children, Michele Speece, Mike (Kate) Stumpf; siblings, Carolyn (Don) Vance, Joe, Mary Beth (Rob) Ellvold, Dorothy (Donnie) Marschel; many nieces, nephews other relatives & friends.
A celebration of Carl’s life 11 AM Saturday October 13th with visitation 1 hour prior at Roberts Family Life Celebration Home, 555 SW Centennial Dr., Forest Lake. Memorials preferred in Carl’s name to University of MN Liver Research Fund.
Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for your loss. May you find comfort and hope in the Bible promise of a resurrection found in Acts 24:15 “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous” and Jesus’ words at John 5:28 “Do not be amazed this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out” How thankful we can be for the sure hope of seeing our dear loved ones again.
My deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time. I hope the words at Rev.21:4 bring you comfort. It says: “God will wipe out every tear from their eyes,and death will be no more,neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
