Brandon was born on January 14, 1985 in Lincoln Nebraska. Despite living there for only 1 year before moving to Minnesota, he was so proud to say he was “Born ‘Braska”.
Growing up, Brandon was consistently surrounded by a large group of friends. His friendships meant the world to him, and many of those friendships lasted a lifetime. He was fiercely loyal to the people he loved and maintained those connections through every stage of life.
He was active in wrestling, football, and basketball. He attended Epiphany Catholic School, graduated from Blaine High School in 2003, and attended the University of MN Duluth where he received a degree in Business Administration.
In January 2020, Brandon met the love of his life, Jessie Bystrom. They married on September 25, 2021, and welcomed the greatest joy of their life, Elliana Mae, on August 1, 2025. Brandon was made to be a father. Although he was skilled at many things, there is nothing he excelled at more than being Ellie’s “dada.” From reading books to her since she was days old to music and dance time each evening to building toy towers and playing peek-a-boo, he was constantly by her side. He was so looking forward to teaching Ellie how to play basketball and fish.
With a steady eye on the future, Brandon worked hard and lived simply to save his money. He worked in warehouse and operations management throughout most of his career, most recently working at nVent in Blaine. He put his heart and soul into his job at nVent, and was very proud to work there.
Brandon loved his family and friends deeply, fishing, music, Vikings football, golf, a good craft beer or stout, and the North Shore. He leaves behind a legacy of loyalty, humor, kindness, and determination, but his greatest legacy of all is his daughter Ellie.
