Avis Katherine Huntosh Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandma, Age 91 A Grand Lady of Class. Taken home by her Lord and Savior to be reunited with her beloved husband, Ralph, Sr. on August 4, 2011. Survived by her children, Georgia (Marty) Jessen, Buddy (Judy) and Cathy (Frank) Boehm; a legacy of 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A Minnesota girl, her life voyage started in West Concord, then onto Mpls. as a bride and mother, then out to New Brighton, retiring in Cass Lake, back to Mounds View/New Brighton, Andover, Anoka and finally finding Chisago City - what a ride! Her dust will take a place of honor with Ralph, Sr. at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorial Service 11 AM Wed., Aug 10th at United Church of Christ of New Brighton, 1000 Long Lake Road, New Brighton with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 10 AM until time of service. The family extends special thanks to the staff of Isabelles House of Parmly LifePointes and St. Judes Hospice Care. Memorials preferred.
