Anthony "Tony" Kuehn

January 19, 1961 ~ May 19, 2026

Age 65 of Forest Lake. Loving Husband, Dad, Brother & Uncle, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 19, 2026.

Preceded in death by parents, Donald & Sophie Kuehn; sister, Rosanne Matzek, brother-in-law, James Matzek. Survived by loving wife of 27 years, Kathy Cameron-Kuehn; children, KayLynn Kuehn, Thaddeus Kuehn; siblings, Maryjane Kuehn, Estelle (Donald) Palmer, Sandra Matzek, Darlene (Jerald) Walz, Brenda (John) Urbanski, Allen (Elizabeth) Kuehn, Donna (Todd) Swenson, Victoria (Merlin) Adams, Barbara (David) Peloquin; brother-in-law, Charles Matzek; many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Tony had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found great joy in hunting and fishing. Whether sitting in a deer stand at sunrise or casting a line on a peaceful lake, he felt most at home in nature. He also had a creative spirit and enjoyed expressing himself through photography and painting. Tony was devoted to his community and generously gave his time to help in the areas of wildlife conservation. His Christian faith was the foundation of his life, and above all else he loved his family.

Tony’s life will be celebrated with a service at 11 AM Friday, May 29th with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM at Hosanna Lutheran Church, Forest Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Christian Deer Hunters Association or Fishing For Life.

  2. Hes well known guy.. has great family and many people admire his movements, he looking down now.. smiling. Painfree.. hes welcomed to jesus’s kingdom and my grandpa n grandma Sophie hugging him. Love u Tony… wish i knew more about u.

    I worked with Tony for years. He was such a great guy and always willing to help. God Bless all of you at this difficult time.

  4. Jerry and I got to know Tony during our time with SCI-North Country Bowhunters. I never saw him with out a smile on his face. We are fortunate to count him as a friend.

  5. Tony and I were coworkers at The St. Paul and then Travelers Insurance. We worked in National Programs under the leadership of VP Gary Brown. Our gathering times for employee meetings, conferences, and conventions across the USA form some of the best memories I have of Tony. We enjoyed camaraderie and laughing at the light hearted things of life. I miss him very much. My sincere condolences to Tony’s family and other close friends and colleagues.

  6. All though I was not close to Tony I loved him all the same . I remember as a child going down to woods and pond looking for clay for Barbie’s projects and catching crayfish you will be deeply missed gone but never forgotten will forever live in our hearts

  7. I worked with Tony at St.Paul Fire and Marine, He was a fun and helpful friend. He was a member of a group of us to got together regularly to sample the finest Cuisine of cafes, dinners and hot dog stands. Sorry to learn of his passing he was too young.

  8. My sincere condolences to the entire Kuehn family. I grew up in the neighborhood, and I knew Tony as a young boy. I was 7 years older than him.
