Guestbook

  1. Barbara, Jenna and Jared,
We are so very saddened to learn of your loss. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
    Rosie and Isabella Wurm

  2. Barbara and Jenna,
I have been thinking of you very much the past few days and was deeply saddened to hear about Alex. My heart goes out to you both and to the rest of your family. He is now free of pain and in a much better place. He will always be with you, your guardian angel.

  3. We are deeply saddened by the news of Alex passing and the loss of him in this world. But we are comforted by the knowledge that he is rejoicing in heaven at this very moment. I had the privilege of serving with Alex on the Five Oaks Church governing board and came to deeply appreciate his reliability, the quality of his work, his attention to detail and the integrity that flowed from him. His sense of humor was also a bright spot in many meetings!

Barb, we are praying for you and the kids and trust that God has and will continue to wrap you and your family in his love and comfort.

  4. I never really knew him very well, but I am best friends with his daughter Jenna. She is the sweetest girl in the world and I can tell what a difference he made in her life and how much alike they are. Jenna: I have been praying for you and I want you to know that I will always be here for you, because that’s what friends are for. You are the best friend anyone could ask for!

  5. Dear Donny and Jackie,
I am very shocked and so sorry for your loss. Just know we will be praying for you and all of your family. I remember you all at family reunions and how nice all your boys and their families were, always laughing. We are in Michigan this week but know you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
    God bless!.

  6. Alex was my little brothers best friend when they were growing up, and when he went camping with our family he was everybody’s favorite at the campsite. He brought fun and mischievous tricks to our trips. I am very sorry to hear of your loss and hope you find condolence in your memories of a wonderful person.

  7. Alex was a great father and friend we shared many moments about life and one thing for sure he would help anyone anytime no matter what he was going through Alex will be missed by all May God Bless his Family And Friends through this difficult time

  8. Although it was my uncle Eric and Alex that were best of friends growing up on the east side of St. Paul, Alex’s lovable nature led to him become a member of our family–attending many a Rousselle family picnic as well as vacations, weddings and the like. I was also close to Alex–I grew up hanging out with him and Eric–shooting hoops in the backyard, playing tennis, going to movies and eventually rooming with Alex after college. The last time I saw Alex was at my grandma’s funeral about 5 years ago. It was like old times again. And his sense of humor was also a real healing source to all of us during our time of grief. He will be greatly missed. I will cherish the last chance I got to reconnect with him. My heart goes out to Barb, their kids, and the rest of his family.

Alex was a wonderful man who touched many, many lives–a wonderful tribute to his life and memory.

  9. We were asked to sing an “Eagles” song for a service a few years ago. Alex was totally game. I also remember he was also an excellent treasurer for Five Oaks. Very approachable person, very easy to be around. John 11:25: “Jesus said unto Barbara, ” I am the resurrection, and the life: Alex believed in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.”

  10. I never had the honor of meeting her dad, but I did have the privilege of getting to know Jenna over the past year, and I can only imagine the dad behind such a wonderful young lady as Jenna. Jenna, please know that my prayers are with you, your dad and your family.

  11. Barb – I am so very sorry for your loss. Alex was such a kind man – I truly enjoyed singing on worship team with him. When I think of him, the words ‘steadfast love’ come to mind – that was Alex. For you, your children, for God, for others. I am praying for God’s peace for you and your family.

  12. Alex was a joy to sing with on worship team. He had a heart for the Lord and so much love for Barbara, Jenna & Jared. I am so sad at his death, yet knowing he loved Jesus makes it bearable. I will be praying for you, Barbara and your dear family.
    Linda
