Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Al and I were co-workers at a gas station, friends and roommates in Michigan around 1972/73. We hadn’t seen each other in years and had lost touch. I googled him on a whim today and found this. I remember Al for his kindness and strong spirit. I’m pleased to see that he has touched so many lives and know he is missed by all.

  2. Endless games of four squares in the street in front of the house, raspberry picking in the woods, Batman and Robin and Wonder Woman comic books, paper routes, swim teams, tennis, fights over which TV program to watch, ping pong and pool in the basement, model airplanes, haying with Uncle Dan, singing 99 bottles of beer in the car on our way to ND for Christmas,

  3. I met Alan at MCDA/MPHA back in 1989. Our work relationship evolved to a special friendship. Alan will be remembered as a strong spirited, witty, and determined man who was a ” thinker” and “doer” and wasn’t afraid of speaking his ideas and challenging others to do so. Alan loved his wife, Linda and his family. Alan loved his friends and faithful companion, Watson. I will miss Alan and I loved him as my friend.

  4. We used to have so much fun camping and biking together. Well, sort of together. Alan would always be a couple blocks out ahead of us!
